RCMP/Policing Services

The Brooks R.C.M.P. Detachment is responsible for the preservation of the public peace, prevention of crime, detection and apprehension of law offenders, protection of the rights of persons and property, and enforcement of federal and provincial laws and City of Brooks bylaws. In partnership with the community, the R.C.M.P strives to provide service based on excellence to ensure a safe and secure environment. 

In Brooks, the detachment is made up of 23 members. Grant funding from the Province of Alberta is provided by the Policing Support Grant to offset some of the RCMP contract costs.
